Prestige with a down to earth approach.
I travelled from Derby to get the car I wanted and was bowled over by Richie’s friendly approach where nothing was too much trouble, and I came away very satisfied with the whole buying experience. Full marks to Sheffield Prestige!
I had problems with my Land Rover Discovery 3 (06 Reg) concerning suspension and electronic parking brake faults. After booking the vehicle in for inspection I was met by Lee the service manger who immediately showed me around the underside of the car and pointed out various potential problems. This was impressive in that it wasn’t the usual ‘leave it with us and we’ll find out what the problems are’ you find at many repair centres. Confident that Lee was a true professional I left the car with Prestige. Lee kept me up to date on the progress of the repair process including costings. 2 days later the repairs were complete resulting in the faults being eliminated. When I picked the car up, I was even shown photographs of the faults discovered by the technicians.
Prestige is a truly professional organisation and particularly Land/Range Rover owners should have no hesitation in consulting with them when the need arises.
Dumping a dead vehicle (Freelander 2) with a garage you’ve never dealt with before & hoping they’d look at in anytime soon is a big ask, but then I’d not reckoned with Lee & his team…it wasn’t good news but within 2 hours I got a seriously good technical explanation (& physical demonstration) coupled with a “I don’t want you to spend more of your ££ proving what I already know – that your engine has failed” feedback that was refreshing, even if the news was somewhat devastating. Enter Matt (possibly the least pushy salesman in the car industry) who offered me a deal on an immaculate low mileage RR Evoque that I spent a day trying (& failing) to improve on. Matt has a refreshingly down to earth, practical & ‘customer first’ attitude all to rare in this day and age & his team very clearly buy into his values. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to any Jag/LR/RR owners & they will be my ‘go to’ people for servicing. Thank you Matt (& Lee), truly outstanding service.
Just thought I’d thank you for the honesty you showed today in advising me that my flywheel and clutch did not require replacement, despite me being convinced that it did! That kind of honesty is a rarity these days, particularly in the context of the poor economic climate we are currently suffering. Your business model of honesty, cost transparency and providing excellent service will Im sure, serve you well. I’ll certainly be bringing my precious old girl in to you in the future for my servicing and any major works required.
Just wanted to say again how impressed we both were with the service you gave us when our old lady Freelander came in for a service, MOT and lots of other bits and bobs that had needed looking at for some time!!! Spot on communication and service and a genuine interest in the health and well being of our Freelander led to a job well done and a very reasonable bill after all your hard work. Thank you again and we look forward bringing our car back to you in the future. It is very hard to impress people these days but you easily managed to do just that!!!
